Delete a variance for an employee

Use the Manage tab to delete a variance (or change) listed on an employee shift. This is useful for keeping shifts up to date.

Note: Only published calendar shifts are displayed in the Manage tab.

  1. Open the Manage tab:
  2. Click and select the work area that you want to work with:
  3. Note:

    • By default, your previously selected work area is preselected.
    • If you only have access to a single calendar, this is pre-selected when the screen loads. There is no need to select a calendar.
  4. Select the calendar that you want to work with:
  5. Note: By default, your previously selected calendar is preselected.

  6. Select Today or use the date navigation tools to select the dates that you want to view:
  7. Note: You cannot navigate to a new week until the information for the week which is currently shown is fully loaded. The navigation buttons are temporarily disabled to prevent multiple weeks being loaded at the same time.

    All teams published in the selected calendar are listed.

  8. Click the arrow next to your selected team to expand the team list.
  9. All employees in the selected team are displayed:

    Icons indicate any variances logged for employee shifts.

  10. Click on the shift variance that you want to delete:
  11. A popup window is displayed:

  12. Click to delete the variance.
  13. If you have chosen to delete a multi-day variance you must confirm whether you want to Delete All instances or Delete This Only.
  14. The calendar is updated accordingly.
